Blogging - not so easy

So I have spent a number of hours trying to find my way around creating a blog, and it has been challenging to say the least.  I think I now have the basics in place, and the rest I will have to learn as I go along.  I don't know if there are any books on the subject, but will have a look when I go to the library.  I am happy to just practise putting my thoughts on paper and to use this as a form of  a homeschooling record.

New to the blogging world

Well this a completely insane idea to start a blog;  I am completely hopeless at writing and I have not the faintest idea how this blog thing works.  So here goes to attempting something so out of my comfort zone....  fish out of water.
